Batteries & Chargers
What Are Vape Batteries and Chargers?
Many larger vape mods run on removable lithium-ion cells, usually 18650, 20700 or 21700 format, rather than a built-in battery. These cells and the external chargers that service them are sold separately. Choosing the right cell for your device and charging it properly is the single most important safety consideration in vaping.

The right cell. The right charger. Every time.
Removable cells give you longer sessions and let you swap in a fresh set instead of waiting on a USB port. They also require more care than a built-in battery.
Understanding the Numbers
Capacity and current rating both matter.
mAh tells you how long a cell lasts between charges. The continuous discharge rating, given in amps, tells you how much current it can safely deliver. Your device manual states the minimum amp rating it needs, and that figure is not optional.
18650, 20700 or 21700
The numbers are the physical dimensions.
An 18650 cell is 18mm across and 65mm long; a 21700 is 21mm by 70mm and holds more capacity. Devices are built for a specific size, so check what your mod takes before ordering.
Charging Properly
Use an external charger where you can.
A dedicated multi-bay charger monitors each cell independently and stops at the correct voltage. Charge on a hard, non-flammable surface, and do not leave cells charging unattended overnight.
Handling and Storage
Never carry a loose cell in your pocket.
Loose cells can short against keys or coins, which is the most common cause of a battery failure. Use a plastic battery case. Replace any cell whose wrap is torn or damaged rather than using it, and keep cells away from heat.
Using Cells in Pairs
Marry them and keep them together.
In a dual-battery mod, use two identical cells of the same brand, capacity and age, bought together, charged together and used as a set. Mixing cells puts uneven load on both.
Shop with Confidence
We stock cells from recognised manufacturers alongside chargers and cases. If you are unsure which cell your mod requires, send us the device name and we will confirm the correct size and minimum amp rating.
